FACILITIES
Parking
Belfast Airport parking options are vast. The first Belfast Airport parking option is the drop off zone outside the terminal that allows passengers to par their car for a short amount of time. The second of the parking options is the short stay car park which is suited for parking over a few hours. The third of the parking options is the main stay car park, ideal for leaving a car for a few days. The last of the Belfast Airport parking options is the long stay car park. This is perfect for passengers going on holiday for a matter of weeks.
Entertainment
After parking the car at one of the many Belfast Airport parking facilities, passengers are treated at the airport to a variety of restaurants and bars. These are available before security and after security. The restaurants and bars include Burger King, Café Bar, Caffe Ritazza, Food Village, Starbucks and Bar Des Voyageurs. A range of snacks, meals and drinks can be purchased from all of these venues. Whether you prefer to eat fast food, drink coffee or eat a full meal before flying, there are enough choices to cater for all passengers.
Internal Transport
Belfast International Airport is relatively small and there is no need for internal transport because everything can be accessed on foot. However if a passenger chooses to make use of the long term Belfast Airport parking facilities they will need to catch the free shuttle bus that will take them from the car park to the terminal. All other Belfast Airport parking facilities are within walking distance of the terminal and do not require a shuttle bus. The airport is simple to navigate and without any internal transport there will be no chance of getting lost or missing a flight.
Departure Lounges
The passenger terminal at Belfast International Airport is divided into two floors. On the lower floor is where arrivals are taken care of whilst on the upper floor is the location of the departure lounge. The departure lounge is extremely well equipped with cash machines, currency exchange facilities, toilets and baby changing facilities, restaurants and shops as well as screens displaying vital airport information. There is also a business lounge which is peaceful, relaxing and offers complimentary drinks. The business lounge is ideal for those wanting to get some work done before a flight but is also suitable for non-business passengers.
