Bristol Airport has a fantastic choice of duty free shops to choose from for all your liquor, tobacco and perfume needs. A wide range of shops are open from the first and last departing flights each day. Stores that are found before security inspection include WH Smith and Flying Visit for news, magazines, drinks, break, milk and lottery. After the security checkpoint, the World of Duty Free can be found with its seemingly limitless perfume, cosmetics, technology and alcohol products to choose from. More so, Collection, Superdrug and Claire’s are but some of the duty free stores that travelers can enjoy before taking their flights.
Duty free
Despite the vast options of stores inside the Bristol Airport, one should be well aware of the latest changes regarding the duty free laws. There is a limit to the quantity and kind of goods one is allowed to purchase and bring on-board. EU Passengers cannot purchase any spirits nor any cigarettes and cigars. On the other hand, non-EU passengers are permitted to purchase spirits, cigarettes and cigars, alcohol, fragrances, cosmetics and skincare products, jewelry and watches, audio and video equipment, confectionery, and of course, toys and games. Finally, liquid items over 100 ml cannot be taken through security should also be kept in mind.

Carry on luggage
After dropping your car at the Bristol Airport Parking, it remains the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that the number and content of the bags presented at security search is compliant with the airline's allowance and rules. After the security screening area, passengers may buy any items and take them on board from the retail and catering outlets in the departure lounge as these items follow regulations and are deemed to be safe.
Customers may purchase liquids from the departure lounge and take them on board including Continental Airline passengers flying to New York as long as long as it does not exceed 100 ml. Also, passengers travelling with Ryanair and EasyJet are allowed only one bag of shopping from Duty Free on board aside from their only piece of carry-on hand luggage. Those buying duty free liquids must leave the item in it's bag and original packaging with receipt in order to take it on board.
