MAPS AND DIRECTIONS
From The North
Durham Tees Airport is easily accessible if driving from the north. The best route to take is via the M1/A1. Join the M1/A1 and head south, then turn off Junction 59 onto the A167. Take the next turn onto the A1150 and follow that road until you reach the A66. Turn onto the A66, head south and then turn onto the A67. This road will lead you directly to Durham Tees Airport and the Durham Tees Airport parking facilities.
From The South
There are two routes from the south to the airport. The first route is to take the A1/M1 heading northwards. Turn off at Junction 57 onto the A66. Follow the A66 until you reach the turning for the A67 and turn onto the A67 which will lead you to the airport. Alternatively, if travelling from the south, one can take the A19 northbound and turn onto the A67 when it is signposted. This will also lead to the Durham Tees Airport parking facilities.
From The West
For those drivers travelling to Durham Tees Airport from the west the best option is to drive on the A66 heading eastbound. Follow this road until you hit the M1/A1. Head north on the M1/A1 and turn off at Junction 57 onto the A66. Follow the A66 until you reach the A67, at which point turn off. The A67 will lead drivers directly to the airport and the Durham Tees Airport parking facilities.
From The East
Driving from Middlesbrough to Durham Tees Airport is relatively simple and is only a short drive. Firstly leave Middlesbrough on the A66 heading westbound. Next, turn onto the A135 heading south. Follow the A135 until you reach the town of Egglescliffe and from there turn onto the A67 westbound. The A67 will lead straight to the Durham Tees Airport parking facilities.
Domestic Flights
Domestic flights operating from Durham Tees Airport are somewhat limited, although rapid expansions have been made in order to better accommodate the growing number of flights being added and passengers traveling each year. BMI has recently expanded their normal shuttle services to Heathrow through a BMI Baby link to London Gatwick. They also make use of a new route going to the Cornish surfing haven of Newquay.
On the other hand, Eastern Airways cater to domestic passengers arriving or leaving Aberdeen and Bristol. Durham Tees Airport parking terminal is just a few miles away from Newcastle, making it accessible to the majority of the population in the northeast part of England.
