MAPS AND DIRECTIONS

From The North

The best route from the north towards Glasgow Airport is via the A82. The A82 can be joined at Dumbarton, Alexandria and further afield. Take the A82 south and turn off onto the A898. Follow the A898 south until it joins with the M8 motorway. Keep on the M8 southbound and the motorway will pass by Glasgow Airport. Once within the vicinity, follow the signs to the airport and the Glasgow Airport parking facilities.

From The South

Approaching Glasgow Airport from the south is best done using the M77 motorway. Head northbound on the M77 and exit at Junction 3 onto the A726. Drivers should then follow the A726 through and beyond Paisly until they reach the major junction connecting to the M8 motorway. From this junction the airport, as well as the Glasgow Airport parking facilities, will be clearly signposted as they are merely hundreds of metres away from the junction.

From The West

From the west there are two main routes which both provide relatively easy access to Glasgow Airport. These two roads are the A8 and A737. The A8 starts at Greenock and if followed eastbound it will eventually become the M8. Once on the M8 the airport will be clearly signposted because the motorway runs parallel to the airport. Alternatively, one can choose to take the A737 if coming from a different direction. The A737 will lead directly towards a major junction just outside the airport and from there the Glasgow Airport parking facilities will be well signposted.

From The East

When travelling from the east the easiest and simplest approach to Glasgow Airport is via the M8. This major motorway starts all the way over in Edinburgh and it passes right through the centre of Glasgow. Keep following the road westbound and it will also pass right outside the airport and the Glasgow Airport parking facilities.

Domestic flights

Although Glasgow Airport connects the city to destinations all over the world, it also offers a flight program that links Scotland to all other major cities in the United Kingdom. The airlines that predominantly services the domestic flights to and from Glasgow Airport are:

KLM flies to Amsterdam,

Aer Lingus (Cork),

Aer Arann goes to Dublin and Donegal,
