MAPS AND DIRECTIONS
From The North
If travelling to Humberside Airport from the north it's best to drive southbound on the A1 and turn onto the M62 heading eastbound. Next, turn onto the M18 at Junction 35 and then turn onto the M180 at Junction 5. The M180 leads straight to the airport and the Humberside Airport parking facilities. Both will be clearly signposted.
From The South
When driving from the south of England towards Humberside Airport, the directions are reasonably straightforward: Firstly take the A1/M1 northwards and at Junction 32 turn off onto the M18. Keep driving northbound and once you arrive at Junction 5 turn off onto the M180 which heads eastwards directly to the airport. Once approaching the airport there will be sufficient signage to direct drivers towards the Humberside Airport parking facilities.
From The West
If driving to Humberside Airport from Manchester, Liverpool or other towns in the West, then it is best to drive along the M62 heading eastbound. Eventually you will approach Junction 35. From there, turn onto the M18. Then urn off at Junction 5 on the M18 and drivers will find themselves on the M180. This motorway heads straight to the airport and the Humberside Airport parking facilities.
From The East
Humberside Airport is located relatively close to the coast on the Northeast of England and as a result ,travelling to the airport from this direction is simple. If travelling from Grimsby, drivers only need to take the A180 which will lead them towards the airport and the route is clearly signposted. However is a driver is approaching the airport from Skegness, they will need to take a different route. Firstly take the A158 heading out of Skegness and turn onto the A16 which leads northwards. Turn off on to the A18 as soon as possible and simply follow it all the way to the airport.
Domestic Flights
Humberside Airport is a provincial airport that primarily serves the North East of England. Facing intense competition from nearby Leeds-Bradford and Doncaster Sheffield airports, Humberside Airport is in constant struggle for custom and offers only a limited range of domestic destinations.
The two main destinations for domestic flights are to Jersey and Aberdeen. The Aberdeen route is most associated with the oil rigs which are common off the coast of Scotland. Meanwhile the Jersey flights go all the way to the Channel Islands. Despite its minimal domestic flights, Humberside Airport is well equipped with Humberside Airport parking facilities and is easy to reach.
