MAPS AND DIRECTIONS

From The North

When approaching London City Airport from the north it is best to take the M11 southbound. Keep driving on the M11 until you join the A406 also heading southbound. Drive down the A406 until you see signs for the A1020. Drive all the way down the A1020 to Woolwich Manor Way Roundabout and at that point join the A117. Follow the A117 round until you reach the A1011. The A1011 will lead you to the airport and the London City Airport parking facilities.

From The South

When coming from the south, London City Airport is best approached via the A205. The A20 and the A23 also join the A205 and both of those roads can be used to reach the airport from further south. Once on the A205 heading northbound, drive all the way to the river Thames where you will have to catch the Woolwich Ferry across to the other side. The ferry caters for vehicles. Once on the other side follow the A117 and turn off onto the A1011. From there the London City Airport parking facilities will be signposted.

From The West

If drivers are travelling from central London the best route to take to get to the airport is via the A13. Take the A13 heading eastbound. As you approach Barking Road roundabout, take the turning onto the A1011 heading southbound. Follow the A1011 until it becomes the A1012. Once on the A1012 the road will lead straight to the airport and the London City Airport parking facilities will be signposted.

From The East

When travelling from the East the best option for drivers is to take the A13. Once on the A13 head westbound towards central London. When you see signs for the A117, turn onto that road heading southbound. Follow the A117 until you can turn onto the A1011. Turn onto the A1011 and this will lead you straight to the airport and the London City Airport parking facilities.

Domestic flights

Just beyond the London City Airport parking facilities, lies a portal to many large International airports around the United Kingdom and Europe. From these larger flight hubs, the rest of the world becomes accessible to the traveller. On the smaller scale, the London City Airport is also a part of a flight network that caters for domestic passengers travelling within the United Kingdom.

Domestic flights include internationally-recognised air carriers such as British Airways, which runs regular flights to Amsterdam, Edinburgh and Glasgow International; Air France, which services Dublin, Edinburgh, Dundee and Jersey; and Aer Arann, which charters flights to the Isle of Man.
