MAPS AND DIRECTIONS
From The North
If leaving from central Manchester, the quickest way to Manchester Airport is via the A5103. Follow this road south until you can turn onto the M56. Follow the M56 southbound and leave at Junction 5 to access the airport. If leaving from another part of Manchester you should take the M60 ring road south and leave at Junction 4 to get onto the M56. Then follow the instructions above. The Manchester Airport parking facilities will be clearly signposted.
From The South
When travelling from the south, the best route to Manchester Airport is via the M6. Join the M6 northbound at any appropriate point and turn off at Junction 20 onto the M56 heading eastbound. Follow the M56 and turn off at Junction 5 to access the airport and the Manchester Airport parking facilities directly.
From The West
For drivers coming from Chester, or another similar westerly point, it is advised to take the M56. Take the M56 eastbound and this motorway will lead directly to the airport and the Manchester Airport parking facilities. Simply exit the motorway at Junction 5 and this will enable you direct access to the airport.
From The East
When driving from the West, the two best roads to take to get to Manchester Airport are the A6 and the A628. Take either of these roads westbound and eventually they will connect with the M60 ring road. Join the M60 southbound and exit at Junction 4 in order to get onto the M56. Follow the M56 southbound and exit at Junction 5 and this will take you directly to the airport. The Manchester Airport parking facilities will be clearly signposted once you are on the M56 and once you turn off.
