FACILITIES
Parking
Manchester Airport is one of the largest and busiest flight hubs in the United Kingdom. As such, it offers comprehensive Manchester Airport parking facilities to cater for the vast number of passengers as well as their complex needs.
Manchester Airport parking facilities are available as either short or long-term parking areas, which are located outside each of the three terminal buildings. There are designated disabled Manchester Airport parking bays in the short-stay facility and a valet parking service located immediately outside the terminal buildings. Passengers can also make use of Manchester Airport parking available through its affiliate hotels, affording savings of up to 60%.
Entertainment
Manchester Airport has three terminals, all of which contain a great selection of eateries at which budget meals, quick breakfasts, leisurely lunches and stately dinners – whatever a passenger’s fancy – can be enjoyed prior to departure. In Terminal 1 there is Bar MCR, Burger King, Giraffe, The Real Food Company, The Food Village and the Runway Bar and Brasserie to sate those hunger pangs, quench the thirst and quell those caffeine cravings. Terminal 2 has a Burger King, CafĂ© Ritazza, Millie’s Cookies, Runway Brasserie and Starbucks Coffee while the smaller Terminal 3 offers Bar 08, Costa Coffee and Delice de France.
Internal transport
The Manchester Airport parking facilities are all regularly serviced by shuttles that take passengers directly to their relevant terminal buildings. The airport hotel parking is also serviced by buses, enabling passengers a smooth, hassle-free transition from road to air travel. The terminal buildings themselves consist of a complex network of escalators, elevators and auto-walks, which aid passengers in their transit from one end to the other. There is also support for disabled passengers, which can assist them from the Manchester Airport parking facilities, through the terminal buildings and onto their flight. Thanks to the ready assistance offered by airport staff and ample signboards, navigation around the airport is made incredibly easy.
