By Road
Its central location in the Northeast along the north-south length of the A1 arterial motorway makes Newcastle Airport - the third largest in the UK - one of the most accessible of all the regional flight hubs. Directions to and from the Newcastle Airport parking facilities can all be easily navigated from the A696, a recently upgraded duel-carriageway that links the airport to the A1, which in turn connects to other major cities outside of Newcastle.
From the North
Coming from the north of the city, get onto the A1 motorway and travel south. This will take you directly to the A969, which then leads to the airport. Follow signs to the Newcastle Airport parking facilities or drop-off zone depending on what you need.
From the South
Since the Newcastle Airport parking facilities and grounds are located north-to-south along the A1, accessing it from the south is very much the same as coming from the north. Simply follow the A1 north onto the airport link road, the A969. This will take you directly into the Newcastle Airport parking area, where you can subsequently find a facility to suit your stay duration (short, mid or long-stay) or needs (valet, Fast Track, disabled Newcastle Airport parking).
From the East
Coming from the east of Newcastle International Airport, drive west on the A167 from Newcastle city centre, turn north onto the A1 motorway and then west onto the A696. This will take you directly to the Newcastle Airport parking area and the terminal building.
From the West
Coming from the west, get onto the A1 motorway via the A69. Subsequently, the A696 off the A1 will take you directly into the Newcastle Airport parking facilities.

Newcastle Airport is one of the major access points for domestic flights arriving from and departing for locations all over the United Kingdom.
