Parking
 
Stansted Airport offers several different options for parking, whether you are just making a short trip or an extended vacation, there is a parking option for you.  The long stay parking area requires a minimum of three days in order to use it.  This lot is designed for those travelers that plan on being gone for a bit and want a place where they know that their vehicle will be safe and secure while they are gone.  Stansted Airport parking also offers a short stay parking area for those travelers that may be gone for a weekend or a couple of days.  This lot is also a great option for those either picking up or dropping off travelers.
 
Entertainment
 
After arriving at the terminal at Stansted Airport, there is an amazing selection of different restaurants and bars to choose from.  Whether just to grab a quick snack, or a full sit down dinner, there are options for every hungry traveler.  If you are feeling like seafood, be sure to stop by Caviar House & Prunier Seafood Bar.  If coffee or espresso is what you are in the mood for, you can swing by Costa Coffee, Caffe Alba, or Espresso by Ponti’s for your caffeinated needs.  For those with a sweet tooth, Ice Cream Cart offers a fine selection of ice cream and is sure to be a hit with the kids.
 
Internal Transport
 
Stansted has one terminal, so getting around it is easy and painless.  When you walk in the main gate, all of the ticketing and check-in counters are located conveniently at the entrance of the terminal as these will be your first stop before boarding a plane.  Here you will check your bags if needed as well as pick up your ticket for your flight.  Directly behind the check-in areas are the security checkpoints.  Here is where you will enter the departure areas after being given the go ahead by the security personal.  Disabled passengers can make use of the lifts and airport assistance if requested. There are several food options located in the main entrance area if you are hungry.
 
Departure Lounges
 
Stansted departure lounges offer nothing but comfort for those waiting to catch a flight.  Private lounges include the No. 1 Stanstead, located at gate 1 and gate 16. Servisair Executive lounge is also available in the departures area, offering the finest in services.

In the standard waiting areas, Internet access is provided in the form of wireless connections for those wishing to catch up on some work or use their computer for their own pleasure.  There are also plenty food and drink options for those that have some extra time and don’t want to sit at their gate.
